Did the walls of Jericho really fall?
According to Joshua 6, the Israelites marched around Jericho for seven days before the people shouted and the city’s walls collapsed. Was this a supernatural event exactly as the Bible describes, could a natural event such as an earthquake explain it, or does archaeology suggest the story developed differently? What do you think actually happened at Jericho, and why?

I think the Jericho account may preserve a historical event, but the archaeological dating deserves closer examination.
